GIICOMVEC Indonesia International Commercial Vehicle Expo (GIICOMVEC) will be held from March 7th to 10th, 2024 at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Senayan. One of the participants, Adi Putro, will launch their latest fleet for the Kencana Bus Company using the Jetbus 5 Double Decker body.
As the first day of the GIICOMVEC 2024 approaches on Thursday, March 7th, participants are preparing their respective booths. The event will feature various commercial vehicle participants, including Daihatsu, Mitsubishi Motors, Suzuki, Toyota, and Wuling in Hall A, along with Foton, Hino, Isuzu, Mercedes-Benz Truck & Bus, Mitsubishi Fuso, UD Trucks, and United Tractors in Hall B. Companies like Adiputro, Delima Mandiri, and MTU will also be present.
PO Kencana is a new player in the inter-city shuttle service, operating the Jepara-Jakarta route, offering luxurious bus amenities akin to a 5-star hotel. Their double-decker buses provide luxury sleeper, combi sleeper, and executive seats with plush and comfortable automated reclining features. Passengers will also enjoy amenities such as blankets, pillows, audio-video on demand, charging ports, air conditioning, shoe racks, toilet, smoking room, a meal, and snacks served by bus cabin crew.
The new PO Kencana bus, named ‘EMILY’ and built by Adi Putro, is equipped with a Scania K410IB chassis featuring a premium three-axle frame. This chassis ensures high comfort levels, complete safety features, and powerful performance. The bus is characterized by its red, black, and gray livery.
The Scania K410IB chassis comes with drum brake system on all wheels, incorporating EBS, ABS, Retarder brake, Automatic Hill-hold, Traction Control, and ESP for stability on various road terrains. The air suspension system with Electronic Level Control (ELC) automatically adjusts the height for passenger comfort.
Powering the bus is a diesel turbocharged intercooler DC13 107 K01 6-cylinder in-line engine with a capacity of 13,000 cc, delivering 410 Hp and 2,000 Nm peak torque. Paired with a 12-speed automatic transmission with Opticruise and Downhill Speed Control, the Scania K410IB ensures comfort and safety for the passengers.
