Prabowo Subianto Uplifts UMKM by Erasing Bad Debts

President Prabowo Subianto has implemented a policy to erase bad debts for micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM) in Indonesia, resulting in immediate benefits for the public. This move has revitalized the enthusiasm of farmers and fishers, leading to increased motivation and productivity. The debt relief was enacted through Government Regulation No. 47 of 2024, signed on November 5. Additionally, Prabowo has introduced other impactful measures such as raising the minimum wage and reducing airfare prices by 10% ahead of the 2024 Christmas and 2025 New Year holidays. He expressed gratitude to his cabinet for achieving these milestones and emphasized the importance of prioritizing the people and national interests. Prabowo highlighted the government’s commitment to continue refining policies and systems to better serve the public.
