Banjir Pujian Prabowo pada Program Muslimat NU

President Prabowo Subianto was warmly welcomed by Khofifah Indar Parawansa, the Chairperson of the Central Leadership of the Muslimat Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), along with other board members of the organization during an audience at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday, 14 January 2025. Khofifah shared details about various programmes and services that have been successfully implemented by Muslimat NU, which have directly impacted the community at the grassroots level. President Prabowo expressed his admiration for the initiatives undertaken by Muslimat NU, emphasizing the importance of their widespread network in ensuring the effectiveness of these programmes. During the meeting, Khofifah introduced two new initiatives, namely Mustika Mesem (Muslimat Combating Extreme Poverty) and Mustika Darling (Muslimat Environmental Awareness), which will be launched at the upcoming XVIII Congress of Muslimat NU. Mustika Mesem focuses on alleviating extreme poverty through simple activities like recitation, while Mustika Darling aims to raise environmental consciousness through waste management efforts carried out by Muslimat NU cadres. Khofifah highlighted the significance of these programs in addressing critical issues like poverty and environmental sustainability. Discussions also revolved around the preparations for the upcoming XVIII Muslimat NU Congress scheduled to take place from 11-16 February 2025 in Surabaya. The congress, expected to be attended by thousands of delegates from across Indonesia, will seek to further strengthen the organization’s presence and impact nationwide. The meeting concluded with Khofifah extending an invitation to President Prabowo to grace the opening ceremony of the Congress on 12 February.
