Indonesian Diaspora in Middle East Optimistic about Prabowo’s Leadership

During President Prabowo Subianto’s visit to Middle Eastern countries such as Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt in early April 2025, members of the Indonesian diaspora, including students, expressed their optimism and high hopes for his leadership. The Indonesian community in Turkey, represented by Maulidya Nur Islami, shared their pride and happiness at the President’s visit, seeing it as a positive momentum for both countries. Additionally, Muhammad Munirudin and Muhammad Syarif appreciated Prabowo’s personal attention and direct engagement with them during the visit. They hope that the meeting between Indonesian and Turkish presidents will lead to stronger cooperation in the future. In Qatar, Rifki Nur Muzaki expressed enthusiasm on behalf of the Indonesian community, hoping that Prabowo’s visit will inspire them to continue making Indonesia proud. The Indonesian diaspora in Egypt also welcomed Prabowo’s visit, expressing confidence in its positive impact on education development for Indonesian students in the country. Overall, members of the diaspora in these countries offered prayers and well wishes for Prabowo as he begins his leadership. Since April 9, President Prabowo has been on official visits to various countries in the Middle East, including the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt.
