President Prabowo Subianto of Indonesia participated in the Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW 1447 H celebration at Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta. He was accompanied by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya. The theme of the event was “The 2025 State-Level Commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday: Ecotheology – The Example of Prophet Muhammad SAW for the Sustainability of the Earth and the Nation.” Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar delivered a sermon emphasizing the importance of love, compassion, and happiness. The Imam of Istiqlal Mosque, Husni Ismail, led a prayer urging worshippers to protect nature and promote peace. The event aimed to honor Prophet Muhammad SAW and inspire his followers to preserve the environment according to his teachings.
