Prabowo Subianto Receives a Call from Erdogan, Receives Congratulations on Presidential Election, Ramadan, and Eid al-Fitr

Jakarta – The winning presidential candidate of the 2024 election, Prabowo Subianto, received congratulations from President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on his victory in the 2024 Presidential Election. Erdogan conveyed his congratulations over a phone call on Monday (April 8th).

“Congratulations on your achievement in the election,” Erdogan said.

“Thank you very much, Your Excellency,” Prabowo replied.

Erdogan also prayed for Prabowo to become a leader who brings benefits to the people of Indonesia and the world.

“In the holy month of Ramadan, I pray to Allah that you will bring benefits to the people of Indonesia and to the entire Islamic world,” Erdogan said.

“Once again, I would like to extend my congratulations on behalf of my country and personally on your excellence in the presidential election,” Erdogan continued.

Additionally, Prabowo and Erdogan also exchanged blessings at the end of Ramadan by wishing each other a happy Eid al-Fitr. They both prayed for the health and prosperity of each other’s countries.

“Happy Eid al-Fitr and may you always be in good health,” Erdogan said.

“Thank you very much, President Erdogan, it’s an honor. I also extend my wishes to you and your family, and the Turkish people, for a happy Eid al-Fitr and may you all be blessed and happy,” Prabowo said.

In addition to conveying congratulations, Prabowo and Erdogan also discussed several potential areas for continued cooperation between the two countries.
